FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Michaels' IAQ Division Manager Appointed to Steering Committee for ASHRAE IAQ 2007 La Crosse, WI – July 3, 2007. Michaels Engineering's IAQ Division Manager, Wane A. Baker, has been appointed to serve on the Steering Committee for ASHRAE’s triennial Indoor Air Quality conference. “IAQ 2007 – Healthy & Sustainable Buildings” will be held October 14-17, 2007 in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Consistent with ASHRAE’s current focus on sustainability, the purpose of the IAQ 2007 conference is to advance the state of knowledge about buildings that provide healthy, productive indoor environments, while doing so in an energy-efficient, sustainable manner. Having completed selection of the venue, conference themes, and technical tracks, Steering Committee members are currently completing the initial peer-review process for invited technical papers.
