Michaels’ Energy Efficiency Division Hires New Engineer La Crosse, WI – January 4, 2007 – Michaels Engineering would like to announce the addition of a new team member, Chris Pinkowski. Pinkowski holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University. From there he was commissioned as an officer in the Navy for the nuclear propulsion program completing the Nuclear Power School curriculum in Orlando, Florida. He spent three years as a plant engineer and two years as the assistant operations officer in the Navy. Chris then took courses at the University of Wisconsin and Edgewood College for teaching physics, math, and computer science, followed by 10 years of teaching at the secondary level. In recent years, Chris has been taking distance learning courses in architecture for energy efficiency, sustainable design, daylighting, and more.
