Borchardt, a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. His most recent experience includes an engineering co-op internship with Wausau Paper in Rhinelander, WI. His duties there consisted of planning and managing cost savings projects, resolving maintenance issues affecting production and efficiency, and boiler shutdown assistance.
