Michaels Energy Division hires new Energy Engineer
La Crosse, WI - April 16,

- Michaels Engineering would like to announce the
addition of a new Energy Efficiency Division team member, Patrick O'Donnell.
O'Donnell has Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Environmental Studies from Iowa State University. His
elective courses at Iowa State include hydrogen production using photovoltaic-generated
electricity (electrolysis) and fuel cells. He
spent a year studying in Murcia, Spain and a semester in Odense, Denmark, and he is fluent in Spanish.
His
internship / co-op experience includes positions at Hutchinson Technology Inc., the Iowa Energy Center's Biomass Energy
Conversion Center, and Vermeer Mfg.
O'Donnell will be joining Michaels' Sustainable Design
Group providing commercial and industrial new construction design assistance,
building simulations, and LEED consulting services. Patrick can be contacted via email at
