Energy Engineering / Sustainable Design Consultants Michaels Engineering is nationally recognized for large commercial and industrial energy efficiency consulting, and sustainable design. We are seeking candidates who are interested in either or both tracks within our Energy Division. These positions are for our La Crosse or Milwaukee, WI offices, and potentially for a west coast office, which we plan to open in the next year. Regardless of the eventual work location, three to six months of training in our La Crosse home office is required. Some travel is required for both positions. Michaels’ engineering excellence and reputation in the market has resulted in doubling our workload in two years to 18 full-time energy engineers. During this period, we have provided services in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and California and we are poised to expand into Pacific Northwest states. Our home office will be moving to downtown La Crosse, into a renovated 100-year-old four-story department store building. The facility features beautiful original maple flooring, twelve-foot ceilings, huge windows providing copious daylight and views to outdoors from any seated workstation, state of the art HVAC system with status viewing and data tracking for all employees to serve as an on-site laboratory of learning.
