Phase II Environmental Site Assessments If contamination is suspected because of the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment or otherwise, the next step is to confirm that contamination is in deed present. Michaels Engineering has experience with air sampling, hydraulic push-probe and drilled soil sampling, and surface and groundwater sampling. If contamination is found, the next step is to define the degree and extent of the contamination by performing a Site Investigation and subsequently Remediation of the contamination.
