Alliant Energy,
Madison, Wisconsin: Developed utility program applying energy
management control systems (EMCS) to save energy and facilitate load
management in customer facilities. Included preparation of RFP to
select an EMCS vendor, development of proposed load management
rates, and training of utility account managers and technical staff.
University of
Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin: Project Manager for the Energy
Audit and Detailed ECO Analysis of the Clinical Science Center, a
1.4 million square foot hospital, teaching and research facility.
Iowa Public Service,
Sioux City, Iowa (now part of MidAmerican Energy): Project
Manager for the design and implementation of the Rock Valley Energy
Efficiency Research Project, a community-based energy efficiency
pilot project for a town of 5,000 residents.
Wisconsin Department of
Administration, Madison, Wisconsin: Project Manager for
Michaels’ participation in the evaluation of the Wisconsin Focus on
Energy Pilot and Statewide programs. Michaels provided engineering
support to the evaluation process, including energy calculation
review and on-site measurement and verification of energy efficiency
projects.
